I don’t like birds. They scare me a bit now that many of them are so tame and fly way to close to me for my liking… But today I found myself illustrating birds! Crows to be precise. I think it was watching Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” when I was way too young that made me dislike birds in the first place. But hey ho they do make nice objects for patterns and illustrations. Yes, the red on the cushion symbolises blood…
